For us, it's all about the people. And this coffee comes from really, really good people.
Organized back in 2014, the ASPROGUATE Asociación is a collective of over 100 different, small, independent, organic coffee producers. Beyond their dedication to Mother Earth through sustainable practices, they are strong supporters of gender equality (55% of their producing members are women) and they reject all forms of discrimination, (90% of their producing members belong to the Cakchiquel and Tzutujil ethnicities).
And that love for people is reflected in the quality of their coffee. This particular harvest is ripe with the chocolatey notes that we all love in a classic cup of joe and that bittersweet chocolate character is handsomely accented with hints of walnut, nougat, and Valencia oranges.
This is a perfect coffee for your daily drip, your afternoon espresso, or even your Sunday morning pour-over.
