Beyond delicious coffee, we care deeply for Mother Earth and the people involved in the process from start to finish. We're proud to partner with La Minita and their mill at Empresas de Antioquia as their ideals align symmetrically with our own. 

Nestled in the mountains of northern Colombia's Antioquia region in the picturesque town of Jardin, our friends at La Minita have been working hard each and every day since back in 1991 when they established a partnership with Don Enrique Vasquez and his family. 

El Jardin (the garden) lives up to its name. It's an absolutely picturesque town with one of the most colorful central squares in Latin American (we've visited before, that photo of the orange chairs was taken on Ben's cell phone back in 2017) and it is surrounded by an incredibly lush valley full of rivers, mountains, and wild life. 

Local coffee production is a part of the paisa culture of Colombia. It's a staple of the land, like cowboys are to Texas. And we aren't talking about folks in East Austin, two stepping at The White Horse on a Saturday night. We're talking about real, hands in the earth, boots with the spurs, cowboys.

From the growing to the drying and processing to the sale and export, coffee is part of the culture and sustainability of the people of Colombia, which makes us so proud to be roasting this incredible coffee, Vaquero Cowboy, for you all.

It makes us incredibly proud to work with a farm that cares so much about the land and their workers. And it doesn't hurt that their coffee is insanely delicious.
