Details:  The Magalhães Paiva family has been growing coffee at Fazenda Recanto since 1896, with a strong focus on sustainable growing techniques. The farm has long been known for the quality of its coffee, with awards ranging from the 1930’s to recently winning the Rainforest Alliance competition. Having raised their family on the farm, Maria Selma and Afranio now share the coffee production with daughter Paula Magalhães Paiva, the 5th generation of coffee growers at Recanto.
